Potential Running Mates for Obama

This is just a list I've been juggling in my damaged brain and I'm no good at juggling so I'm posting it. It's definitely a work in progress, and is NOT a list of probabilities, it's just the potential VP's I think would be great on the ticket and an asset to the country. Some people have been eliminated because they've already indicated that they wouldn't take it, like John Edwards and Jim Webb, but maybe one of them will change his mind..

VP's for Obama

1. General Wesley Clark (former Supreme Allied Commander of N.A.T.O., Rhodes Scholar, etc., etc.)

2. Bill Bradley (former U.S. Senator, Rhodes Scholar, B’ball Star)

3. Sen. Chuck Hagel (yes, I know he's a Republican, from Nebraska, but he's a very progressive guy and he did earn a Purple Heart in Vietnam)

4. Senator Joe Biden, D., Delaware since '72, uber-experienced.

5. Gen. Colin Powell (very long shot that he'd consider it- Republican, former Sec’y of State, Chairman Joint Chiefs, Nat’l Security Advisor, etc., etc.)

6. Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D, Kansas)
